In addition to the public schools, there’s the in-residence Lincoln Hall Boys’ Haven, which was originally an orphanage in the Civil War. The private John F. Kennedy Catholic High School is located in Somers. Children are also fortunate to have access to the Somers Public Library, which is integrated into the community.

While shopping and dining is limited in the tiny hamlet of Lincolndale, there is access to nearby shopping and restaurants in the Town of Somers.
